9AM Bible Study
WSBC youth gather weekly at 9 a.m. for Bible study mixed with fellowship and fun at the church. They join the whole church family for great snacks during Coffee Café from 10 to 10:30 a.m., then attend the Contemporary Worship Service together at 10:30 a.m. Many WSBC youth play or sing in our praise band, read Scripture for the worship service, serve as ushers, or appear in worship dramas.

Periodic social events take the youth to homes (pool parties in the summer, Christmas parties in December), to City Island (Senators baseball or mini-golf), to youth sports events, or just down the block to the Cornerstone Coffee House in Camp Hill.

WSBC believes in mission, and so do WSBC youth. They live out God’s love at Bethesda Mission, in Vacation Bible School, and at the food bank. They pack Operation Christmas Child boxes, wrap Angel Tree gifts, serve on WSBC LIGHT teams, and more.

WSBC youth love God, invite others, grow together, help others, and teach truth. They are an important, integral part of our church family. They make a difference.

PLEASE NOTE: All volunteers at WSBC have had complete background checks through "Protect My Ministry"!

Streamlined Procedure for New and Renewal Background Checks...Life just got even easier for volunteers with children and youth at WSBC who need first-time or renewed background clearances. Now you just have to fill out one form authorizing WSBC to run the clearance check on your behalf, enclose your form in an envelope (with $7.50 to cover costs, if you are able), and place this on Bonnie Prior 's desk in the church office. Don't know when you are up for renewal? Board of Christian Education Chair Holly Kindig will send you an email reminder with the authorization form attached. New volunteers can obtain the form from Bonnie Prior , Holly Kindig , or via the WSBC website. Thank you for helping our church be a safe place for children to come and learn about Jesus !
