I Am My Beloved’s
Every couple locks horns in the same old fight. Over and over again, we repeat the same old patterns. And it won't change until we find a new focus -- one bent not on two people getting what they want out of their spouse but on both serving the other, totally devoted to their beloved. Learn more in this week's message from Song of Songs 5:2 - 6:3.
The Best Song
Song of Songs, this book filled with wisdom for how to carry out the healthiest, most God-honoring relationships whether we're single, dating or married, invites us to two weddings. They couldn't be more different. In the first, King Solomon's, it's like the bride isn't even there. This is a marriage about usefulness -- of what each person can get from the other. But the second? The groom can only see the beauty of his bride. And that wedding points us to an even better one -- the One that changes how we love others today. Guarding the Garden
Every 'garden' has them -- the little foxes, the small indiscretions, the seemingly innocuous patterns that will absolutely destroy beauty and fruitfulness. In the Song of Songs, we hear the call to catch those foxes that will cause long-term damage to our relationships. In today's message, we're invited to name the 'foxes' most present in the lives of single, dating & married individuals and take the extremely practical steps necessary to catch them. beLOVED
The Song of Songs is one of those books that we're not quite sure what to do with. The unfiltered celebration of the love between a man and woman, of marriage vows and commitment somehow feels out of place. Yet, it is God's holy word, given to His people to showcase the romance that every human heart longs for. Yes, of a healthy, Christ-centered, vibrant marriage. And of the Groom's delight in His beLOVED. In this first teaching in our newest series, Pastor Kelly invites us to see two key themes in the Song: both the deep delight & deeper desire God intends marriage to cultivate.
