The Lord of the Sabbath has a word for those who fastidiously try to keep all of the rules: you are ruining them and you in the process. He also offers one rule that, if we'll trust Him enough to obey it, will restore what we've ruined. See how in today's message from Mark 2:23-28.

4 men brought their paralyzed friend to the feet of Jesus, stopping at nothing and shoving through every obstacle, because their number one priority was to see him saved from suffering. Imagine their shock, their anger, when Jesus refused to settle for their priority. Instead, He insisted the man most needed salvation from sin. And He says the same for you: rescue from the power and penalty of sin matters more than relief from suffering. How can that be? His priority comes from a greater perspective and priceless prize.
